Job Details: Picking and Packing of strawberries Eligibility of Applicants: people with a working visa and a tax file number may apply Conditions of work: Must wear a hat and follow the farm rules. Dates of Harvesting: Work avail from March to Nov. Hours of work: Workers are paid per hour and packers can learn the packing shed at a contract price per punnet until they can pack 100 per hour then they will go on and hourly wage. Accommodation: There is onsite accommodation which holds 48 people with 4 people in each room. It has male and female separate toilets and showers. Every room has its own out door seating area. At this current time we have 10 different fields, all of which are very close to our cooling facility. The closest is only 15 metres away. We are farming approximately 40 acres of strawberries in total.
